Our client is looking for a Data Scientist to help drive innovation by applying Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) to real-world business challenges. This role is perfect for someone with strong Python skills, solid NLP experience, and a passion for exploring emerging AI technologies in a scalable and responsible way.

What You’ll Do:

• Build LLM- and Generative AI–based solutions for summarization, classification, information extraction, and conversational experiences.
• Prepare and transform structured and unstructured data for model development and evaluation.
• Perform exploratory analysis and apply statistical techniques to refine models.
• Collaborate with teams across risk, compliance, and governance to ensure responsible AI practices.
• Stay up to date on the latest NLP and Generative AI advancements and assess new tools for practical use.
• Document methods, findings, and model behavior for both technical and non-technical audiences.

What You Bring:

• 4+ years in data science, analytics, or applied machine learning.
• Strong Python skills and experience working in notebook environments.
• Hands-on experience with NLP libraries like spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face.
• Experience working with unstructured text data and text processing techniques.
• Proven ability to source, clean, and prepare data from multiple systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Generative AI tools and pre-trained LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Gemini).
• Experience building orchestration workflows or agentic systems.
• Understanding of model validation processes or regulatory expectations.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering and LLM evaluation methods.
