Job Description:
- Conduct risk assessments for organizational systems.
- Identify vulnerabilities in existing systems as well as systems in deployment or implementation phases.
- Review system hardening configurations against industry-standard benchmarks.
- Perform regulatory compliance assessments in accordance with financial-sector regulations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of compensating controls.
- Provide recommendations for mitigating and remediating identified vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure effective resolution and closure of security gaps.
- Work within a professional Purple Team environment.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience performing risk and security assessments, with emphasis on infrastructure.
- Familiarity with common assessment methodologies.
- Knowledge of hardening standards across a variety of systems and platforms.
- Understanding of networking and operating systems.
- Experience configuring and hardening cloud environments, especially Azure and AWS.
- Strong ability to write clear, professional security reports.
