Operational Excellence Manager

The Engineering Division of RANDSTAD PROFESSIONAL Leaders Search & Selection, specialized in the search & selection of middle & senior management profiles – On behalf of Lagostina, an Italian excellence in the production and commercialization of household goods, is looking for a:

SITE OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Site Operational Excellence Manager is accountable for driving industrial performance and implementing group standards in line with site vision and taking into account other fields’ objectives (production, safety, quality, supply chain, environment, etc.).

MISSION:

To better answer customer needs, manage and monitor site continuous improvement and performance programs in line group industrial policies and End to End ambitions, the role implies the following missions :

• Support Site Director and site management team to perform diagnosis of current processes & performance (End to End diagnosis);
• Identify opportunities and propose axis for improvement towards excellence;
• Support and guarantee implementation of cross-functional projects in line with concepts and methodology;
• Contribute to the process of change to ensure transformation dynamics;
• Guarantee site performance targets achievement;
• Is accountable for reporting of actions and KPI’s.

MAIN ACTIVITIES:

• Map main flows (physical and information ones) and identify opportunities for improvement (consistent with the added value/non-added value concept);
• Quantify opportunities and prioritize actions to be implemented in collaboration with Site Director and Corporate support;
• Build transformation plan taking into account site stakes;
• Onboard site employees into the transformation journey;
• Make sure the transformation plan is implemented by deploying tools & standards and monitor results;
• Take charge of action plans follow-up and performance reporting and propose areas of improvement;
• Drive the site transformation plan;
• Train or organize training for transformation plan implementation;
• Operationally lead one or two transformation projects on site;
• Propose a relevant skills development plan;
• Be actively support diagnostic and transformation on other sites;
• Proactively share good practices;
• Contribute to defining group operations performance standards;
• Continuously be exposed to new practices of operational excellence (through training, benchmarks, workshops…).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master Degree in Engineering;
• 3/5 years of practical experience in a production environment, focused on operational excellence (continuous improvement, Lean, 6 Sigma, etc.);
• Depth knowledge of production and information flows;
• Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite and SAP;
• Fluent in English is mandatory.

• Open minded, change management and Team spirit;
• Resilient, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

Range Salary: 50-60K RAL

LOCATION: Omegna (VB) - 2/5 Smart Working
