Mertens – MalamTeam is hiring an Information Security Manager for a leading healthcare organization

Role Summary

Full leadership of the organization’s Information Security domain, including building strategy, defining annual and multi-year security roadmaps, and presenting risk posture and recommendations to senior management.

Responsibilities include performing risk assessments, identifying security gaps, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations (ISO 27001, ISO 27799, Privacy Protection Regulations), and managing cyber risks and security incidents.

The role also covers policy and procedure implementation, internal and external audits, employee awareness programs, supplier risk management, and oversight of technology and infrastructure security, including business continuity planning.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Information Security

• Strong analytical and system-wide thinking skills

• Proven ability to lead security initiatives end-to-end and guide technical teams

• Experience supporting and reviewing security aspects of technological projects

• Deep understanding of business needs and translating them into security requirements

• Experience working in regulated environments and with security standards

• Strong skills in writing policies, procedures, and security documentation
