A high-tech cybersecurity company specializing in Microsegmentation and Zero Trust operates like a startup while benefiting from the financial backing of a global corporation and a strong customer base.

The company is located in Tel Aviv (near HaShalom train station and the light rail) and offers a hybrid work model with two days remote, employing thousands worldwide, including around 700 in Israel.

Role overview-

  • Lead a flat team of 6–8 experienced C++ developers, functioning as a self-contained startup within the company
  • Provide high autonomy to the team while setting development directions and technology strategy
  • Mentor and support the personal and professional growth of team members
  • Perform a limited hands-on role in development
  • Focus on low-level kernel development, including eBPF for traffic sniffing before and after encryption
  • Conduct protocol research and reverse engineering
  • Develop and deploy features rapidly
  • Independently manage CI, automated testing, performance, and deployment
  • Report to the Development Manager
  • Work with a tech stack including eBPF, Linux kernel, C++, profiling, debugging, STL, API security, and low-level system development

Requirements-

  • 5 years of leadership experience, managing teams of 10 or more people
  • Strong background in C++ and low-level development
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity
  • Lead software development teams, managing projects from ideation to deployment and ongoing support effectively.
