About the Role

We’re looking for a Computer Vision Applied Researcher/Engineer to join our R&D Computer Vision and AI Team. Working closely with the CTO, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ShopperAI’s technology.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design and implement efficient Computer Vision solutions—from concept, research, and proof of concept (POC) to production integration.
• Innovative Problem-Solving: Bring creative ideas to the table and take decisive actions backed by measurable impact.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously research and experiment with the latest AI and Computer Vision technologies.
• Build Versatile Models: Develop models for regression, classification, detection, segmentation, and more.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee model training and testing, refine training procedures, and ensure models are unbiased and robust.
• Collaborative Impact: Bridge the gap between customer needs, product development, and technological capabilities.
• Continuous Improvement: Optimize models through continuous learning and performance monitoring.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Computer Vision or Deep Learning, with a proven track record of scaling AI-based products from POC to production.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to take ownership, work independently, and bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Python and its libraries, with the ability to write clear and scalable code for large projects.
• Framework Mastery: Deep understanding of PyTorch and other ML/DL frameworks.
• Analytical Skills: Solid foundation in mathematics with the ability to thoroughly understand research papers. (No math exercises, don’t worry!)
• Retail Experience: An advantage
