Automation Engineer

A Cyber Security startup providing comprehensive protection for IoT systems. The company has developed a security platform for the IoT domain and specializes in bridging between enterprise environments and the cellular world. Their customers are B2B organizations.

Following a significant funding round, the company now has 20 employees, about half of whom are in R&D.

Located in Tel Aviv, next to the train and light rail lines, and work in a hybrid model of up to two days from home.

Role Overview-

• Sole QA position in the company, owning the entire QA domain
• Close collaboration with the Team Lead
• Manual testing in a Web environment
• Automation development in Python using Playwright
• Working on Linux-based systems
• Involvement with Kubernetes
• Working with PostgreSQL

Requirements-

5+ years of experience as a QA engineer, Manual & Automation, working on complex systems

Demonstrated ability to own feature quality end-to-end, from requirements through execution to release sign-off.

Strong knowledge, experience, and proficiency with Python programming language

Experience with developing & executing automation tests with Pytest/Playwright frameworks

Experience with developing Automation infrastructure with Pytest/Playwright frameworks (Required)

Experience in writing test plans (STDS) based on new feature requirements.

Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Github, Jira)
