Multi is a social impact ed-tech startup on a mission to give every child a voice. We develop cutting-edge digital AI tools to identify language development disorders early. We are expanding across Israel and looking for a passionate technical leader to take full ownership of our platform.

The Role

We are looking for a senior, high-ownership developer to take full technical ownership of our platform. You will be the sole technical expert on the team, reporting directly to the C-Level and working with high autonomy.

This is a strategic, hands-on role. We need an expert who is excited to both maintain and build code daily and design the long-term technical roadmap (architecting for scale and new features).

Crucially, this position is backend-heavy.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the Stack: Take full ownership of the entire development lifecycle - architecture, hands-on coding, deployment, and maintenance.
• Build the Roadmap: Architect our technical strategy for scalability and our next phase of LLM/AI innovation.
• Execute & Maintain: Drive all backend (Python) and frontend (React Native) development.
• Manage Infrastructure: Oversee and improve our AWS cloud platform and automation.
• Collaborate & Lead: Act as the key technical partner to the C-Level, researchers, and designers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (6+ years) in software development, with a strong portfolio of projects you have owned or led.
• Expert-level Python and modern backend development experience.
• Proficiency in React Native and the mobile ecosystem (TypeScript/JavaScript).
• Production experience with LLMs and their practical integration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Startup Mindset: Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable with ambiguity. You are a natural problem-solver.
• Experience using AI developer tools (e.g., Github Copilot, Claude) to enhance productivity.

Preferred

• Strong knowledge of AI and voice technology applications.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Background in Unity3D (Android/iOS).
• A passion for social impact and ed-tech.
