About the Role:

As a Data Scientist at HiOctave, you’ll build the intelligence that powers our AI + human customer experience platform. You’ll work across AI, product, and engineering to transform real-world customer interactions into predictive models and actionable insights that help SMBs grow smarter.

You’ll design experiments, develop ML pipelines, and apply LLM-based analytics to drive automation, personalization, and deeper customer understanding. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your work directly shapes how millions of small businesses connect with their customers.

What You’ll Do:

• Build and deploy ML models for recommendations, segmentation, and predictive engagement.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows supporting real-time analytics.
• Partner with AI and product teams to design experiments and A/B tests that drive growth.
• Apply LLM-based insights and LangGraph/LangChain to enhance agentic intelligence.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.

What We’re Looking For:

• BSc+ in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Applied ML Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python, scikit-learn, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong skills in SQL, data modeling, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with LLMs, LangGraph, or agentic AI is a plus.
• Analytical, hands-on, and eager to own end-to-end impact in a fast-moving startup.
