VP R&D (Hands On | Trading and Gamified Fintech Platform)

Our client is a well funded fintech company backed by highly respected investors. After a full year of intensive development, the product has already launched its beta version. It is an advanced multi asset trading platform that brings together traditional markets, crypto, and a deeply designed gamified user experience at a very high standard.

The company is now seeking a hands on VP R&D who will take full ownership of the technology, drive execution, and gradually build an engineering organization around them.

What You Will Lead

• Full responsibility for the company’s technology including architecture, delivery, reliability, and scalability

• Direct hands on development across backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure during the early stage

• Definition of engineering standards, development practices, security guidelines, and release processes

• Close partnership with product, design, and growth to transform complex trading logic and gamified flows into a polished, high performance product

• Oversight of data foundations and analytics systems including event tracking, KPIs, and product usage insights

• Building a pragmatic engineering culture focused on rapid shipping, measurement, and thoughtful iteration

Your Experience

• Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams, preferably in high growth or product driven startups

• Strong hands on abilities in modern web technologies across backend and frontend

• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization

• Experience with data systems, real time analytics, and event based pipelines

• Background in consumer products, gaming, or financial and trading platforms is a significant advantage

• Ability to operate independently in early phases and later evolve the R&D organization as the product grows
