AI Engineer

A stealth-mode DefenseTech startup focused on developing advanced AI systems for cybersecurity and defense, including large-scale models, Agentic AI, and AI-driven operational solutions. Located in Tel Aviv near train and light rail lines.

The company has raised $12M in Seed funding from leading VCs, has a small team, and is at a growth stage where every new team member will have significant influence, impact, and responsibility.

Role overview -

Part of the AI Research team under the CTO.

Full responsibility for establishing the company’s AI capabilities.

Develop models, including LLMs.

Fine-tune and run models locally on GPU servers.

Develop Agentic AI for operational applications.

Deploy models to production environments.

Design and develop AI-powered applications.

Optimize performance: inference, scalability, and resource usage.

Develop and maintain APIs and services, integrating them into core systems.

Work with a technology stack including Python, LLMs, Generative AI, Fine-tuning, AI Agents, on-prem GPU infrastructure, APIs, production systems, inference optimization, scale, and cybersecurity

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with LLM/AI/ML required.
• Experience with Python required.
• Experience deploying models to production required.
• Background in elite technological units significant advantage.
