RT Embedded SW Engineer

RT Embedded SW Engineer | Lod, Israel | IAI

We are looking for an experienced RT Embedded Software Engineer to join the Aviation Division’s Conversion and Enhancement Center.

The position includes:

• Developing software for embedded mission computers on combat platforms, enabling operational capabilities for air forces in Israel and abroad

• Analyzing software requirements, software design, and unit testing

• Implementing RT Embedded software in C/C++

• Taking part in system testing and lab integration

• Supporting integrations in Israel and at customer sites worldwide

• Working in accordance with company procedures

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering – required

• At least 3 years of experience in RT Embedded software development in C/C++ – required

• Proven experience with real-time operating systems such as VxWorks, Integrity, or Embedded Linux – required

• Willingness to travel abroad – required

• Experience with configuration management tools such as GIT – required

• Knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP and DDS – an advantage

• Experience working with BSP interfaces – an advantage

• Knowledge of OOP and software modeling – an advantage

• Familiarity with avionics systems in Air Force aircraft and networking concepts – an advantage
