System Engineer

Systems Engineer | Yehud, Israel | Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our defense division, supporting the development of advanced air defense systems.

The position includes:

• Full engineering responsibility for an air defense system

• Working across multiple engineering disciplines including missile systems, C4I, and radar

• Simulation analysis and interpretation of firing and flight control processes

• Support for live firing test processes in Israel and abroad

• Definition of system requirements and test protocols

• Process and algorithm definition and implementation

• Defining system performance metrics

• Collaboration with subcontractors

• Performance validation through simulations, lab testing, and operational systems

What we’re looking for:

• BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Computer or Software Engineering, or Systems Engineering – required

• Advanced degrees – an advantage

• Experience in air defense systems – significant advantage

• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering – required

• Familiarity with systems engineering tools such as Polarion and QC – an advantage

• Experience with AI tools – an advantage

• Excellent English – written, spoken, and reading

• Proficiency in MATLAB and Excel – required

• Willingness to travel abroad occasionally
