We detect and stabilize “reasoning drift” in real time, just like flight control for AI cognition. MASIV is where control theory meets multi-agent intelligence - a new category in AI safety and runtime assurance.

Your Role

We’re looking for a Founding VP R&D to lead the design and implementation of MASIV’s Cognitive Control Platform, from concept to deployment. This is a hands-on, architecture-to-execution role: you’ll code, design, recruit, and help shape the technical DNA of the company.

You will

• Lead the design of the Neural Reflex Engine, Causal Drift Graph, and Telemetry SDK
• Build the MASIV Simulator for fault injection, replay, and learning recovery policies
• Architect the backend Control Plane (Python, FastAPI, LangGraph, Ray, Kubernetes)
• Manage integrations with LangGraph, CrewAI, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog
• Define and measure reliability KPIs (MTTR-A, NRR, cognitive uptime)
• Build and mentor an elite engineering team, open-source where possible, and drive technical excellence

What We’re Looking For

• Deep expertise in DL / Agentic AI
• Strong hands-on experience with LangChain / LangGraph / CrewAI
• Proven experience leading R&D or architecture in AI infrastructure, reliability, or security systems
• Familiarity with signal processing or time-series forecasting
• Hands-on engineering mindset: capable of building prototypes quickly and elegantly
• Background in distributed systems, cloud orchestration (AWS/Azure/GCP), and observability tools
• Active contributor or visible presence in the GitHub / open-source AI community
• Bonus: prior work in cognitive architectures, control theory, or applied robotics
