UCT is looking for a talented Operator to join us in Israel!

The Operator I includes working under a microscope to identify and remove burrs left after machining. The employee is required to maintain high accuracy, ensure the integrity of the part, avoid scratches in non-processed areas, and comply with the department’s quality standards.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and quality output.
• Perform deburring process according to schedule and required specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift.
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities.
• Provide training activities for newcomer (buddy system).
• Take part in continuous improvement activities.
• Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol.
• Support any relevant ad hoc duties and tasking assign by the superior.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Able to work independently.
• Able to speak and write simple English.
• Able to read and interpret basic Engineering drawing.
• Team player with good problem-solving skills.

Educational/Certification Requirement

• Normally requires a HS Diploma with a minimum 0-1 years of related experience.
  
  

Experience Requirement

• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred or prior working experience in manufacturing environment.
• 2 years of working experience in the related field would be an advantage.
• 1-2 years working in machine shop, assembly clean rooms. Semi-Conductor and/or similar industry.
  
  

Physical Demands And Working Conditions

• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes.
• Must be willing to work shift work and OT if required.
