The position

Junior Information Systems Analyst – Maagan Michael (Full-time, On-site)

We are looking for a Junior Information Systems Analyst to join a unique development team in the IT department of a leading manufacturing company in Israel. This is a full-time, on-site position at Kibbutz Maagan Michael with great potential for growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience to join a professional software development and systems analysis team in a leading industrial company, and to have real impact from a very early stage.

What you’ll do

• Be part of a talented and professional team that develops various types of software tailored to the company’s needs.
• Work in an Agile / SCRUM environment – dynamic, modern and challenging.
• Collect and analyze business requirements from stakeholders across the supply chain (production floors, quality, logistics, and more).
• Perform process analysis and write clear, structured and detailed design documents for the development team.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications that support stable, efficient and scalable solutions.
• Provide training and ongoing support for users (only rarely beyond regular working hours).
• Collaborate closely with developers, other analysts and additional IT teams to deliver stable, efficient and user-friendly solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Engineering or Industrial Engineering & Management with a specialization in Information Systems – must (university only).
• Solid knowledge of databases and SQL queries – must (can be from academic projects, self-learning or previous roles).
• High-level English proficiency (reading, writing and communication) – must.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to understand business processes and break them down into system requirements.
• Ability and desire to write detailed, structured and accurate specification and design documents (DETAILED DESIGN).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Curiosity, diligence, self-motivation, and a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of system analysis.
• Willingness to invest time and effort, including occasional overtime when needed.
