Data Engineer

A cybersecurity startup focused on Automotive and Connected Car domains provides a cloud platform for cybersecurity and data analytics in the automotive industry.

Located in the Sharon area within walking distance from the train, the company operates a hybrid model with two days per week remote work and employs 115 people globally, most of them in Israel.

Following a Series C funding round, the company has raised over $100M and is strongly positioned for continued growth. Strategic investors from the automotive industry support the company, with existing paying clients including car manufacturers, insurance companies, and fleet management firms.

Role Overview-

• Join the team developing an advanced AI-based Data Management platform
• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data workflows
• Work with large datasets and optimize data storage and processing (Iceberg, Trino)
• Implement and monitor ML pipelines using MLflow and Prefect
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into the platform
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment using GitHub Actions and Kubernetes
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the platform

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer – must
• Strong experience with Python and ETL processes – must
• Experience with at least one of: Spark, Kafka, Presto – must
• Experience with at least one of: Airflow, Argo, Prefect – must
• Relevant technical degree or military technology unit background – must
