We are looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join our Operations Data Engineering team, based in Israel (Rosh HaAyin), which is responsible for collecting, managing, and providing LiDAR production data from global manufacturing sites. We work in an environment that includes a Data Warehouse (SQL and NoSQL databases), custom ETL processes in Python, AWS services (S3, EC2, Dynamo), and a Django-based backend. The team manages dozens of data sources and pipelines. Our goal is to provide easy access to reliable, well-structured live data for internal stakeholders as well as external customers.
This is a temporary position for one year to cover an employee on maternity leave
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant, data platforms
- Design, develop and maintain data solutions Data WH, pipelines, API’s, ETL, orchestra
- Web application development to support easy data access & isolation
- Support Internal data customers
Requirements:
- BSc. in computer-science\information-systems or equivalent knowledge
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Engineering role (Mandatory)
- Strong Python & SQL skills, with proven experience
- Experience with building ETL pipelines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of ateam
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
