Freelance E-Commerce Manager (Shopify)

Remote | Life Sciences Industry | Freelance Position

Vareum, a global company operating in the life sciences industry, is seeking an experienced Freelance E-Commerce Manager to oversee the daily management and optimization of our Shopify-based online stores.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Shopify stores, including product catalogs, pricing, content updates, and promotions.
• Monitor website performance and user experience, ensuring smooth operations and high conversion rates.
• Coordinate product uploads and updates across multiple vendors and categories.
• Handle customer inquiries and order-related issues as needed.
• Collaborate with the marketing and business development teams to implement campaigns and improve visibility.
• Analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements to increase traffic and sales.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Shopify – required.
• Background or familiarity with the life sciences industry – required.
• At least 2 years of proven experience managing e-commerce websites (catalog management, order processing, content & promotions). - required
• Fluent English – required.
• Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, or digital marketing tools – advantage.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and business-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
