We’re looking for a Software Infrastructure Developer to join our Securities Applications & Infrastructure Section – Matching Engines Unit in the Information Technology & Operations Department.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Infrastructure Developer to join the team responsible for the application infrastructure of TASE’s Back Office (BO) systems, including Securities systems, Payments and corporate actions systems, Mutual funds systems, Trading Back Office systems.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software infrastructure for Back Office systems in a Linux environment.
• Design and implement system enhancements and new features according to business requirements and work plans.
• Prepare design documents, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Provide ongoing support for production systems, including troubleshooting, user support, and operational assistance.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners in Israel and abroad.
• Write technical documentation in Hebrew and English.

Required Qualifications

• Proven development experience in C and/or Python.
• Proven experience writing Bash scripts.
• Deep knowledge of Linux-based operating systems.
• Familiarity with Natural programming language.
• Experience with databases such as Adabas and MS SQL.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
• Experience with VS Code and/or Eclipse – an advantage.
• Familiarity with task and knowledge management tools such as Jira and Confluence – an advantage.
• Strong teamwork and independent learning skills.
• System-wide and business understanding.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Willingness to work non-standard hours, including evening shifts.
