DevOps Engineer Tech Lead

Pipl is the identity trust company. Our solutions allow organizations to provide frictionless customer experiences and approve more transactions with greater confidence and speed. We use multivariate linking to establish deep connections among more than 330 billion trust signals—email, mobile phone and social media data that spans the globe—and then look at the big picture to derive identity trust.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer Tech Lead to be part of the Platform team that is responsible for architecting, provisioning, automating and deploying our products. In this role, on the day-to-day, you will have a major part in planning and designing Pipl environments and solutions as well as deploy, support, and operate the DevOps solutions to meet the needs, and evolve the underlying technology.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and robust cloud infrastructure solutions, utilizing industry best practices for high availability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless software delivery and automated deployments across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to define and implement efficient workflows, ensuring the stability and reliability of production systems.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve the efficiency of software development and deployment processes, such as infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve problems promptly.
• Implement security best practices, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Work on-call in rotation.
  
  

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Solid understanding of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably GCP - Must.
• Experience in containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, GKE - Must.
• Experience in building, deploying and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions with ArgoCD - Must.
• Experience with using and implementing IaC; Terraform, Crossplane.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Loki.
• Good scripting skills using Bash or Python.
• Ability to debug problems that span systems and design solutions that span the whole stack.
• Ability to hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
