Industrial Engineer (Automotive Background)

A leading and well-established automotive importer, representing major international manufacturers of trucks and buses, is looking for an Industrial Engineer with experience in the automotive industry to join its team in a Product & Commercial Manager position.

This is a central and high-impact role, combining analytical work, business understanding, and direct collaboration with global vehicle manufacturers.

You’ll work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams, managing product-related processes from order planning to delivery, while supporting the company’s commercial and strategic goals.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage communication and commercial relations with international vehicle manufacturers.
• Oversee the vehicle ordering process – analyzing needs, defining quantities and configurations, and supporting price negotiations (together with the CEO).
• Track and monitor import processes up to customs clearance, including coordination with the Ministry of Transport and Standards Institute.
• Analyze market data and competitor trends to localize and adapt products for the Israeli market.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technical, and Logistics teams on changes and improvements.
• Participate in international exhibitions, supplier visits, and management presentations.

Who You Are:

• B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management (or similar field) – mandatory.
• 2–4 years of experience in the automotive industry – mandatory.
• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset with solid business orientation.
• High-level English (spoken and written) – mandatory.
• Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders and cross-departmental interfaces.
• Ideal for someone with an engineering or analytical background who wants to step into a broader product and commercial role in a global environment.
