Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and reliability of cloud-based infrastructure supporting high-performance, real-time systems. The environment leverages Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with extensive use of Terraform and Kubernetes. This role requires a hands-on engineer who can balance technical excellence, system scalability, and operational stability within a fast-paced, data-driven organization.

• Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management
• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-optimized infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness across all environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Develop and maintain Terraform-based IaC frameworks, emphasizing reusability, modularity, and version control. Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management for infrastructure components.
• Kubernetes & Containerization
• Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters to ensure performance, scalability, and resilience of containerized applications. Utilize Helm for efficient workload orchestration and environment consistency.
• Continuous Integration & Delivery (CI/CD)
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo. Streamline deployment workflows and integrate automated testing, monitoring, and rollback capabilities.
• Monitoring, Observability & Reliability
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using frameworks like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Stackdriver. Drive incident response and root-cause analysis to maintain platform reliability.
• Collaboration & Enablement
• Partner with software engineering teams to optimize build, release, and operational processes. Enhance visibility into system performance and resource utilization through observability dashboards and automation tools.
• Security & Compliance
• Enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, secrets handling, and network segmentation. Ensure compliance with organizational and industry reliability standards.

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
• Deep hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and distributed system architecture.
• Advanced proficiency in Terraform, including module design, state management, and automation pipelines.
• Proven operational experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and container orchestration in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Argo Workflows.
• Experience with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Stackdriver, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking, load balancing, security, and infrastructure resilience principles.
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and cross-functional communication skills.
