System Team leader

A young Startup Company developing the world’s first photonic quantum computer. The company is a dynamic and highly interdisciplinary organization, combining expertise in quantum physics, optics, mechanical engineering, hardware, and software.

The company’s solution is expected to revolutionize fields such as medicine, security, climate, and finance, making practical quantum computing accessible globally. The team consists of approximately 60 employees, following a Series A funding round raising $77 million.

The office is located near the train station and accessible by public transport, with a hybrid work model including one day from home.

The role involves leading and managing a team of three systems engineers responsible for developing and defining the system specifications of the company’s photonic quantum computer.

The position reports to the VP of R&D.

Requirements-

• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• 10 years of experience in system architecture, integration, or systems engineering of complex technological products (such as photonics, precision instruments, optomechanical systems, quantum devices, or semiconductors)
• M.Sc or Ph.D in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Hands-on experience integrating optomechanical and electronic systems, control software, and laboratory instrumentation
