A well-established Security Tech company developing an enterprise-grade platform for security policy management and network automation. The company is located in Tel Aviv, right next to a train line, and operates in a hybrid model with three days working from home.
The company has approximately 550 employees globally (about 220 in Israel), and was recently acquired by an American investment fund, with development centers in Israel, the Far East, and Europe.
The role-
- Leading and mentoring a team of 3 Data Scientists within a new strategic group.
- Driving end-to-end development of Data Science projects, from data ingestion and feature engineering to experimentation, validation, and deployment to production.
- Conducting hands-on research work (~30%), including model development and optimization.
- Developing POCs and transitioning them into scalable, production-ready solutions.
- Working with diverse data types including textual, numerical, and tabular datasets.
- Fine-tuning and applying advanced language models (LLMs) and NLP techniques, including RAG-based approaches.
- Investigating and solving security-related challenges in networked environments using predictive and analytical modeling.
- Implementing and improving models across anomaly detection, classification, clustering, and graph analytics.
Requirements-
- 2 years of managerial experience, leading at least 2 team members – must
- 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist – must
- Strong background in Machine Learning – must
- Strong proficiency in Python – must
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow and/or PyTorch – must
- Proven experience leading research projects from POC to Production, including full end-to-end pipelines (from data ingestion to deployment) – must
- Bachelor’s degree or higher – must
