R&D Team Lead

What You’ll Do

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a small team of developers (with strong potential to grow).
• Stay hands-on with architecture, coding, and complex problem-solving.
• Translate product and business goals into clear, actionable technical tasks.
• Plan and prioritize the R&D roadmap together with the COO and Product team.
• Own the full development lifecycle - backend, frontend, and infrastructure.
• Work directly under the COO and collaborate closely with company leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of development experience (preferably in startups or small teams).
• Proven experience leading developers and managing technical projects.
• Strong ability to plan roadmaps, delegate effectively, and see the big picture.
• Solid understanding of system architecture, data modeling, and distributed systems.

Technical Expertise:

• Strong experience with Node.js, Angular, and TypeScript.
• Experience with NestJS for building scalable REST APIs.
• Proficiency with GCP (Cloud Run, App Engine, GCS, Load Balancer, CDN).
• Database expertise with PostgreSQL (SQL) and MongoDB (NoSQL).
• Experience with FFmpeg or other video processing tools - a big plus!

• Full-time (Sunday–Thursday)
• Hybrid model: office days Sun, Mon, Wed | WFH Tue, Thu
• Offices in Ra’anana, right next to the train station
• Start date: ASAP
