Java Backend Developer & Cloud Operations Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer & Cloud Operations Engineer to join a high-performing team responsible for developing and maintaining robust backend services and cloud infrastructure. This position combines backend software engineering with cloud infrastructure management to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.

• Manage, maintain, and optimize multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP), including services such as EC2, EBS, S3, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudWatch, BigQuery, and GCP APIs.
• Monitor system health, reliability, and cost efficiency across environments, implementing improvements where necessary.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, backup policies, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Automate deployment and operational processes for improved efficiency and reliability.

• Design, build, and maintain a Java/Spring Boot application server supporting APIs and services for large-scale user-facing systems.
• Develop RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and complex business logic.
• Optimize application performance and scalability to support millions of concurrent users.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design new features and enhance system capabilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer or DevOps/Cloud Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience managing AWS environments and related services.
• Proficiency in Linux-based systems (administration, monitoring, and scripting).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, proactive mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
