Medical Knowledge Annotator (French Speaker)

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated Medical Student (French Speaker) to join our Medical Knowledgebase team. Our team plays a key role in developing and refining AI models that process medical data for insurance-related decision-making. The role involves annotating medical documents in French (mainly) and English, ensuring accuracy and consistency. It also includes translating medical texts from English to French and supporting other annotation teams with medical data understanding and labeling guidance.

This is a part-time job. Most work can be done remotely, but one day per week in the Tel Aviv office is required.

Start date: As soon as possible.

Job Responsibilities:

● Training and aligning the model to domain specific tasks to improve AI model performance.

● Train and fine-tune GenAI models to enhance understanding of medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and insurance-related documentation.

● Identify inconsistencies in model outputs and provide corrective feedback.

● Build and refine intelligent workflows powered by automated decision trees that transform medical data into precise, evidence-based insights for smarter decisions.

● Complete tasks in a timely manner, while meeting stressed SLA deadlines. 

Requirements:

● Medical student in at least the third year of studies (preferably fourth year) at one of the institutions recognized by the Israeli Council for Higher Education.

● Native-level or very high proficiency in French (a language test will be required) and English.

● Access to a French keyboard.

● Fast learning and very good computer skills.

● Ability to work independently and productively in a remote environment.

● Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency and accuracy.

● Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes quickly and efficiently.

● Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.

Bonus points for:

● Prior experience in medical text annotation, translation, or data labeling.

● Familiarity with machine learning or medical informatics.
