Biochemistry Research Assistant JB-49

We are searching for a highly motivated and passionate biochemical research assistant to join our R&D biochemistry team. In this position you will take part in application of a wide range of assays using diverse techniques including enzymatic assays, ELISA, electrophoresis and western blot, capillary electrophoresis, capillary IEF and advanced imaging methods. You will analyze plasma and tissue samples from preclinical studies and will participate in drug and process characterization.

Job Description:

• Perform lab tests and analyses supporting drug discovery and development according to standard operating procedures
• Accurately record and document test results
• Assist with basic instrument maintenance
• Full-time position

Job Requirements:

• M.Sc. (Master of Science) in Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, or Biochemistry - Must
• Basic understanding of standard laboratory equipment – Must
• Experience in protein characterization: SDS-PAGE, Western-Blot, ELISA and enzyme kinetics - Must
• Ability to prioritize tasks and efficiently process urgent samples, especially under time constraints and pressure
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate results
• Good organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new protocols and technologies
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
