Automation Engineer

A successful and profitable Health Care startup developed an ML-based system that protects children with special needs and adults with dementia from harm, getting lost, or unusual situations.

The product, a non-removable magnetic device that also functions as a mobile phone, learns users’ daily routines and provides real-time data, such as unexpected schedule changes, location, and steps taken. It has proven effective in preventing harm and supporting independence.

Based in the Sharon area, the company employs around 100 people (40 in Israel, 15 in development) and operates a hybrid model with one day per week in the office.

Tens of thousands of paying customers use the system, and the company has raised millions from well-known investors and ventures with prior IPO experience. Growth is significant and ongoing.

The role is the sole Automation Developer, reporting to the Development Manager. Responsibilities include developing tests for both Web and Mobile applications, with approximately half of the work in JavaScript using Cypress and the other half in Java.
