The Dream Job:

We are seeking an experienced Director of DevOps to lead our Platform & DevOps organization across cloud and on-prem (including air-gapped) environments. The role owns reliability, velocity, and cost efficiency for Dream’s products and customer deployments.

The Dream-Maker Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow DevOps, SRE, and Platform teams; mentor team leads and establish operating standards.
• Define and execute DevOps strategy, architecture patterns, and golden paths for cloud and on-prem deployments.
• Own Kubernetes at scale (EKS and on-prem): multi-cluster, networking, storage, GitOps, and platform services.
• Drive CI/CD excellence and release engineering for multi-tenant cloud and customer-specific environments.
• Establish SLOs/SLIs, incident management, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and observability.
• Partner with Security to embed DevSecOps (policy-as-code, SBOM, signing, secrets) across SDLC.
• Partner with FinOps on cost governance and GPU/compute efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and Finance; manage vendors and cloud partnerships.
  
  

• 10+ years in DevOps/SRE/Platform with 3+ years leading teams and managers.
• Expert in Kubernetes operations (EKS + on-prem), networking/storage, and GitOps practices.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, observability, and incident management at scale.
• Experience with on-prem/air-gapped and regulated customer environments.
• Security mindset: supply-chain hardening, zero-trust, secrets management, policy-as-code.
• FinOps literacy: budgeting, allocation, forecasting, and optimization of GPU/AI workloads.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  
  

• Background in AI/ML infrastructure (training, inference, GPU clusters) and data platforms.
• Experience with endpoint/security products.
