The Guardicore Architecture Team is responsible for shaping the technological roadmap of the Guardicore product. The team explores new technologies, designs large-scale distributed systems, and drives innovation through proof-of-concept (POC) development that influences the future of Guardicore's micro-segmentation and Zero Trust platform.

As a participant in our program, you will gain valuable experience and contribute through meaningful project work. You will have the opportunity to join us for training, networking events, and engagements with company leadership. Our internships are open for current students.

Duration: 6 months, part-time

Partner with the best

We are looking for a 3rd-year Computer Science student passionate about backend development. And eager to take part in building innovative POCs that validate new architectural directions and technologies. This hands-on role offers exposure to system design, large-scale data processing, and cutting-edge security infrastructure.

As An Apprentice, You Will Be Responsible For

• Designing and implementing backend POCs to evaluate new technologies, frameworks, or architectural concepts
• Collaborating with senior architects and engineers to experiment with ideas that may impact future product evolution
• Developing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Conducting research, benchmarks, and performance tests to validate design choices
• Presenting findings and recommendations to the architecture team
  
  

Do What You Love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Be a Computer Science student with good academic and programming background
• Have Proficiency in backend development (Python, Go)
• Have solid understanding of networking, databases, and software design principles
• Have familiarity with Linux environments and version control (Git)
• Be self-motivated, curious, and eager to explore new technologies
• Have great interest in AI, data engineering, or distributed systems
• Be familiar with cloud-native technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) or cloud platforms (GCP, AWS)
• Be familiar with security, microservices, or observability tools
