Senior Electrical Engineer

A growing startup in the defense sector is looking for a senior electrical engineer.

Job Description:

The Senior Electrical Engineer will be the leading electronics and power engineer in the engineering team.

The job includes high-end development of proprietary electrical boards and systems, building concept & system architecture, digital and analog board design, circuit design, simulations, component selection, detailed design, support of board editing, software-hardware integration, support of production and bring up, and troubleshooting in lab facilities & field operations.

The job requires collaboration with subject matter experts, production companies in Israel and abroad, and customers.

What will you be in charge of:

• Electrical and Power System architecture, including documentation and presentation to internal and external entities.
• Analog & Digital board design according to system requirements.
• PCB electrical scheme design and validation using dedicated software tools such as EasyEDA & Altium Designer
• Simulation of analog circuits with dedicated software tools such as pSplice
• Chip selection and BOM editing
• Support and supervision of board editing
• Supervision of board manufacturing & assembly
• Taking part in teamwork including

Bring-up of boards and integrating them with the full system

Integration and functional performance testing

In-field troubleshooting

Job Requirements

B.Sc Electrical Engineering (or higher) university degree

Proven experience in analog and digital circuit design

Proven experience in performing analog simulations of electrical circuits

PCB design experience with electrical design software

Advantage to having practical experience in breadboard testing and bring up

Advantage having security clearance from Ministry of Defense

Great communication skills

Flexible working hours and mobility are required
