UCT is looking for a talented Intern to join us in Israel!

The Equipment Engineering Student provides basic engineering support to various types of process equipment such as process tools, fixtures and systems. Assists with efforts in continuously improving yields, customer quality, document maintenance, process oversight, and training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows all EH&S standards, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Alerts Supervisor of EH&S concerns to ensure unsafe conditions are documented and corrected.
• Develops and maintains process documents, drawings, etc.
• Maintains existing standard operating procedures and recommends revisions to improve productivity, effectiveness, and safety.
• Maintains, evaluates, and assists in the design of production tooling (fixtures, baskets, etc.) required for efficient, effective part processing.
• Monitors process parameters (pressures, temperatures, concentration, contamination, etc.) and use established databases to maintain logs and generate reports and charts.
• Assists in the development of training material and supports the job training (OJT).
• Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations

Other Duties

• Participates in CAPA resolution, defect and failure analysis, costs and time studies, internal and external audits and preventative actions.
• Participates in projects assigned to improve systems, operations and cross-functional collaboration.
• Other duties may be assigned and at the discretion of the Company.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Effective verbal and written communication skills (Hebrew & English).
• Able to complete assignments in a timely manner while adhering to deadlines and with a sense of urgency.
• High level troubleshooting skills coupled with hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral or in diagram/schematic format.
• Proficiency in the use of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and other software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the organization. Able to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Educational / Certification Requirement

• Student in the following Engineering fields: Mechanical Engineering.

Work Environment:

• Work in a manufacturing environment including chemicals, office and cleanroom environment.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push, pull and grasp.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to lift over 25 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to move arms, hands and fingers.
• Ability to sit for sustained periods of time.
• Ability to talk on the phone and use a computer for extended periods of time may be required.
