As a Cognyter you will:

• Be part of a dynamic cybersecurity research team, driving innovation and working on cutting-edge solutions to counter evolving cyber threats.
• Initiate new research directions and create advanced analytics.
• Leverage big data technologies to analyze information and identify complex patterns indicative of malicious activity.
• Impact the roadmap and design of the product.
• Interact with all group stakeholders (Product, Architecture, Data science and developers).

For that mission you’ll need:

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity research.
• Knowledge and deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., HTTPS, SSL, DNS, SMB, RPC, Kerberos, NTLM).
• Deep understanding of contemporary threats landscape and attack vectors - familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience in threat hunting, including network forensics and log analysis using tools like Zeek and Windows Event Log.
• Experience with data analysis tools and frameworks (such as SQL, Pandas, Spark).
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Internals – an advantage.
• Experience in malware analysis and disassemblers/debuggers (such as - Windbg, IDA, x64dbg) - an advantage.
