Assistant Controller

An excellent opportunity to be part of a global holding group with diverse activities in Shipping industry (the core of the business), Hi-Tech, Real Estate etc. The person in this position must be organized with a great eye for detail, ability to analyze reports at high level, reliable and able to carry out tasks autonomously, and have good collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform reviews and controls over the work of the bookkeepers.
• Assisting with the preparation of consolidated financial statements on a quarterly basis according to IFRS
• Assisting with the preparation of solo financial statements on a yearly basis
• Assisting with the preparation of tax reports according to the Israeli regulations
• Preparation of management reports and other reports as required
• To do controls and analytical analyses before the closing of the reporting period
• To maintain and manage the presentation charts in the ERP system

Qualifications

• B.A in Economics and Accounting - must
• CPA - must
• Internship at a big 4 accounting firm
• Maximum one year of relevant work experience
• Knowledge with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
• Well-Knowledge with Tax regulation (Israeli and International) - advantage
• Extensive knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel)
• Fluent English – writing and speaking
• Experience in the maritime sector - an advantage.
