We are looking for a Mobile Application Engineer to join our core mobile team.
The role includes the development and maintenance of mobile applications for both private and business customers, including end-to-end development of business features used by over 1.5 million app users.
You will work in a highly central squad within an Agile environment, as part of the Digital Platforms team, collaborating closely with DevOps teams, business teams, and development groups across the division.
Responsibilities
• Perform full life-cycle development of native mobile applications
• Design and implement new features using Kotlin and XML, including Jetpack Compose
• Work collaboratively with DevOps, business teams, designers, and additional development squads
• Utilize best practices in secure development, source control, CI/CD, and unit testing
• Participate in architectural design, build processes, publishing, and store management
• Collaborate with designers using tools such as Figma and Zeplin, and integrate third-party libraries
Requirements
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing native mobile applications with Kotlin, XML, and Jetpack Compose
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and secure development principles
• Practical experience with Git, Bitbucket, and working with UI/UX designs from Figma and Zeplin
• Deep familiarity with the full mobile development lifecycle, including build, publishing, and store deployment
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies
• Motivation for research, innovation, and adopting new technologies
•experience with both iOS and Android platforms, and familiarity with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) - an Advantage
