Financial Director

Global Biotechnology company is looking for a Finance Director to join the finance team in a full ownership accounting leadership role:

• Full responsibility for financial reporting – preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements, as well as periodic management reports.
• Management of annual tax reports & returns for Israel and subsidiaries in Europe and the US.
• Ongoing interaction with tax authorities.
• Support in setting costing and inventory management processes.
• Support in upgrading and implementing ERP systems.
• Managing the accounts payable process.
• Managing the annual audit of OCS reports and European grants.

Requirements:

• CPA, completed internship at one of the Big 4 accounting firms.
• 5–6 years of experience as a Controller or Finance Director in global companies; preference for candidates from mature startups.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with US GAAP.
• Knowledge and experience in inventory and costing.
• Managerial experience – an advantage.
• High-level Excel skills.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.
• Proactive, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong team player with the ability to influence and drive others.
• Strong time management and task prioritization skills; ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
• High motivation, pursuit of excellence, and ability to improve and optimize existing processes.
