Senior software Engineer - DevEx Infra

Redis is looking for a Senior software Engineer to join the Developer Experience Infrastructure team. This team plays a role in optimizing development workflows, crafting the developer ecosystem, and ensuring smooth integration of infrastructure and devops solutions within Redis. DevEx Infra enables Redis engineers to build and deliver high-quality software more efficiently by taking a proactive approach to feature development and strategic alignment.

What will you do?

• Collaborate from the earliest stages of feature design to shape and deliver robust infrastructure
• Understanding complex technical needs and breaking them down into actionable tasks
• Own and continuously improve the build and CI systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Participate in technical discussions, sprint planning, and HLD reviews to stay aligned with development teams.
  
  

What will you need?

• Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in OOP, Python is an advantage
• Communicational and project management skills
• Good knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent).
• Knowledge of Linux
  
  

Extra Great If You Have

• Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.)
• Familiarity with Dev Containers and their implications for development environments.
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (especially Redis).
• Experience with cloud providers - AWS, Azure or GCP
