Job Description

As a Senior Applied Researcher, you will be working as part of the Wix CTO Office team, researching problems that can give Wix’s products competitive advantage in a wide range of challenges. The team is working on vision models, LLM based Agentic architectures, Reinforcement Learning, Reasoning and more.

On your day to day, you will:

• Design, train and implement models that solve specific needs
• Collaborate with Wix product teams to design and integrate AI models
• Run POCs
• Explore cutting edge solutions that can be the next strategic direction for Wix
• Brainstorm and Research novel ideas in various fields
  
  

• Demonstrated creativity and willingness to tackle ambitious, high-risk problems
• PhD in CS or related field, or MSc and 5+ years of applied research experience
• 5+ years of research experience in computer vision, machine learning, autonomous perception, or related areas
• Programming skills in Python and experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, HuggingFace, LangChain…)
• Strong publication record at top-tier AI/ML conferences and journals
• Hands-on experience with large-scale training
• Strong knowledge of deep learning models and common model architectures such as transformer models, LLMs, CNNs, RNNs.
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Advantage - open-source contributions to ML/AI frameworks
