Tech Operations Manager

As a TechOps Manager on the Technology Operations team, you’ll play a vital role in driving operational excellence across R&D. You’ll manage budgets and workforce planning, lead strategic cross-functional projects, and create scalable processes that enable our technology teams to perform at their best. This role gives you the opportunity to shape how a global R&D organization runs and thrives.

To Thrive In This Role, You’ll Need

• 3+ years of experience in Technology Operations, Program/Project Management, or Finance/Operations within a tech or R&D environment - Must.
• Strong knowledge of budget management, financial tracking, and workforce planning - Must.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional projects with measurable impact.
• Ability to influence and partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets and data-driven decision making.
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have

• Background in project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, or similar).
• Experience working in a global R&D or technology organization.
  
  

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Own and manage R&D operating budgets, vendor spend, and workforce planning.
• Partner with Finance and HR on headcount planning, hiring, and forecasting.
• Track and report on OPEX/CAPEX, financial commitments, and budget vs. actuals.
• Build and improve operational processes that drive R&D productivity and efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring execution, risk management, and accountability.
• Act as a strategic partner to the Head of TechOps, supporting key cadences such as QBRs and OKR planning.
