They’re now seeking a Back-End Engineer to join their growing Data Platform team, an opportunity to work on large-scale distributed systems, design robust data pipelines, and build the backbone of the company’s next phase of growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale distributed systems and data pipelines handling massive volumes of data.
• Develop and maintain the internal data platform supporting analytics, monitoring, and product intelligence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Data, DevOps, and Security teams to improve data reliability and system performance.
• Optimize back-end performance and storage systems across GCP, Kubernetes, and ElasticSearch environments.
• Influence architectural decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and low latency as the product scales globally.
• Own your code end-to-end — from design through deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

What They Require

• ~6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer (Back-End or Data-focused).
• Proven experience with distributed systems and data-intensive architectures.
• Strong proficiency in Python (other back-end languages welcome if fundamentals are strong).
• Experience with Kafka, BigQuery, ElasticSearch, GCP, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with MapReduce, Spark, or similar data processing frameworks.
• Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent technical field).
• Track record of long-term impact.
• Bonus: Experience in Israeli tech ecosystem (Microsoft, Wix, Monday, IDF tech units).
