Job description:

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Technician, Integration Technician, Mechanical Designer, or Draftsperson to assist in the design, development, and testing of mechanical prototypes. The role involves close collaboration with application development, advanced development, and production teams. The position includes responsibility for ensuring design requirements are met and for a successful transition from development to production.

Responsibilities:

• Mechanical design and drafting of components and assemblies across various projects – from concept to production.

• Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies.

• Participation in the preparation and updating of technical documents and design reports, in collaboration with the engineering team.

• Close work with project managers to ensure successful mechanical design of the overall system (for manufacturing or 3D printing).

• Performing reverse engineering – generating 3D models from existing digital or printed drawings.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Technician or Integration Technician – significant advantage

• Experience with SolidWorks – required

• Experience in creating production drawings, including tolerances and assemblies – advantage

• Ability to work independently and in a team, attention to detail, and good interpersonal communication skills
