System Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated System Engineer to join our R&D team and take part in the development of high-precision electro-optical measurement systems used in semiconductor manufacturing processes.

The role involves responsibility for all aspects of system design—electronics, optics, mechanics, and physics—throughout all development and engineering phases.

In addition, the position includes support for existing products, troubleshooting and performance analysis, and development of customer-specific applications for both equipment manufacturers and semiconductor device producers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define system requirements and specifications, including direct interaction with customers, agents, and suppliers to ensure optimal solutions.
• Design the overall system architecture while balancing performance, cost, maintainability, and compliance with standards.
• Prepare detailed work plans for all engineering disciplines (software, optics, electronics, mechanics).
• Oversee the creation of the product structure (BOM), operation manuals, and integration guidelines for production teams.
• Build and test prototypes, analyze system and component performance, and lead optimization efforts.
• Provide engineering support for existing products – performance analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Analyze experimental and customer data to enhance product capabilities.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of industrial experience leading product development, including system definitions across multiple disciplines (physics, electronics, optics, mechanics, software).
• At least an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electro-Optics, or an M.Sc./Ph.D. in Physics - mandatory.
• High level of English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Creative, proactive, and with strong presentation and communication abilities in English.
