Industrial Designer – Defense Technology Devices

Role:

We’re seeking a Senior Industrial Designer with strong experience designing technological and rugged devices, ideally for defense or tactical use. You’ll lead product design from concept to production, creating durable, ergonomic, and high-performance devices built for real-world conditions.

Responsibilities:

Design rugged, field-ready devices from concept to manufacturing.

Collaborate with R&D and engineering to merge design with advanced technology.

Develop 3D models, renderings, and prototypes for testing and validation.

Balance function, ergonomics, and manufacturability.

Requirements:

6–10 years of industrial design experience in hardware / tech devices.

Proven portfolio of ruggedized, or outdoor products, preferably defense.

Proficiency with CAD and rendering tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, KeyShot).

Strong understanding of ergonomics, materials, and production processes.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Bonus:

Experience with military or weapon-mounted systems.

Knowledge of optics or electronics enclosures.
