Network & Cybersecurity Engineer 232792

We are looking for a hands-on Network & Cybersecurity Engineer with strong technical expertise and a proactive attitude to join our team. The role focuses primarily on maintaining and updating network devices (switches, firewalls, TAPs, etc.) while ensuring robust cybersecurity practices are implemented across utility and power system environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on updates, maintenance, and configuration of network devices including switches, firewalls, and TAPs.
• Implement and maintain network and cybersecurity best practices within utility systems.
• Provide support for utility and power system applications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and security.
• Apply Agile and DevOps methodologies in product and system development.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of cybersecurity guidelines and processes for product development.
• Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Create and manage DevOps pipelines, containerized environments, and automation processes.
• Work with remote monitoring and diagnostic systems, supporting continuous improvement and security monitoring.
• Conduct data management and analysis to improve performance and detect anomalies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Solid understanding of network and cybersecurity concepts and infrastructure.
• Experience with network devices (switches, firewalls, TAPs) and cyber infrastructure in industrial or utilities environments.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles and Agile/DevOps processes.
• Hands-on experience in containerization and CI/CD pipeline creation.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and mitigate cyber vulnerabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
