Senior Backend Developer (Python)

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong Python experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems at scale, building data pipelines, designing APIs, and shaping backend architectures from the ground up.

You’ll take the lead in building and evolving core backend services, with a focus on robust data ingestion pipelines, onboarding new data models, and ensuring scalable integrations with clients. Cloud infrastructure experience (especially AWS) is a strong advantage, as you’ll be expected to work across environments involving networking, secrets management, storage (e.g., S3), and more.

• Design and build backend systems with a focus on high performance, maintainability, and scalability
• Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and data ingestion workflows
• Drive the onboarding of new clients and integration of new data models
• Build and evolve internal and external APIs
• Collaborate with DevOps to configure and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and tech planning
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure business objectives are met
  

• 5+ years of backend development experience, primarily in Python
• Proven experience with data pipelines and batch/stream processing systems
• Deep understanding of API design and implementation (REST, gRPC, etc.)
• Solid experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS highly preferred)
• Comfortable with services like S3, VPCs, IAM, Secrets Manager, etc.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, ECS, EKS, etc.) is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to take ownership of projects end-to-end
  

• Experience working in data-heavy or analytics-focused environments
• Background in onboarding complex client data integrations
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
