We’re looking for a Backend Tech Lead who owns what they build end to end.

You’ll lead backend projects from concept to production, working shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers, DevOps, QA, and product managers.

You’ll be the person who turns complex ideas into production-ready systems that actually move trucks. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of backend projects from the first line of design to the moment it’s running in production (and beyond).

• Lead end-to-end: Own the full delivery lifecycle - design, implementation, testing, deployment, and live monitoring.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with your team members, product managers, DevOps, and QA to deliver high-impact features that meet real customer needs.
• Drive innovation and intelligence: Lead the creation of new technologies and AI-driven solutions that make our platform faster, smarter, and more efficient, delivering greater value and real-world impact for our customers.
• Architect with purpose: Shape scalable systems that perform under real-world logistics demands.
• Be hands-on: Design, code, debug, monitor, and fix what matters most across both development and production.
• Adapt fast: Thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift and learning never stops.
• Embrace full ownership: You don’t just deliver features, you make sure they live well in production and keep getting better.
• Build and deploy: Develop and deliver features using modern microservices and data pipelines, leveraging TypeScript (NestJS), Python, and Java within our Kubernetes and AWS/Azure (multi-cloud) environments.

• Educational Background: B.Sc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Information Technology (or equivalent field experience).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in NodeJs, TypeScript, Python/Java/C#, and containerized production environments (Kubernetes, microservices, queues, event streaming platforms, etc.).
• Database Knowledge: Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and experience managing high-load systems.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Fast Learner: Quick to learn new technologies and excited about continuous improvement.
• Problem Solver: Exceptional problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Communication: Excellent English communication skills.

• AI and Backend: Experience leading teams that leverage AI ecosystem tools, including MCP, autonomous agents, and related frameworks, to enhance system performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Security classification: Active military security classification.
• Big Data: Familiarity with big data technologies.
• CI/CD: Experience with CI/CD methods in a cloud environment.
• Advanced Algorithms: Proven track record of bringing advanced algorithms to production.
• Distributed Teams: Experience managing a distributed team.

• Work Style: Hybrid work model – two days remote and three days in the office.
• Location: Tel-Aviv, Israel.
