About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our startup clients-mainly Israeli-founded companies operating in the U.S. The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks Online and understands U.S.-based bookkeeping practices, including vendor payments, payroll entries, reconciliations, and monthly close support.

What You’ll Do

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Manage bank and credit card reconciliations
• Handle vendor bills, AP/AR, and expense tracking
• Support monthly closing processes
• Collaborate with U.S. CPAs and PEOs as needed
• Ensure compliance with U.S. accounting standards and payroll procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in U.S. bookkeeping (ideally for startups or small businesses)
• Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO)
• Experience working with Israeli or international clients a plus
• Familiarity with U.S. payroll systems and PEO platforms (e.g., Justworks)
• Fluent English; strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working remotely and managing multiple clients
