About the Role:
We’re looking for a talented Backend Developer with strong DevOps skills to join our core product team and help build a high-performance, scalable platform. You’ll collaborate with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver powerful, user-friendly features across both front-end and back-end layers.
This role offers the chance to take technical ownership, contribute to architecture decisions, and build a product at the intersection of AI and real estate innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
- Build scalable data pipelines and processing systems in Python
- Manage and optimize Google Cloud infrastructure (GCP)
- Implement DevOps best practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation)
- Ensure security standards across services, data, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers on architecture decisions
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a backend developer
- Strong knowledge of Python (FastAPI)
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, etc.)
- Proven experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of application and cloud security principles
- Proficiency with Git and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and scaling distributed systems
